1976

The first elevator and high-capacity dryer are installed in Dobele. The company is originally named Jelgavas labības kombināts.

1979

The construction of the animal feed production plant and the second elevator is completed. The company is renamed Dobeles Labības produktu kombināts.

1982

The mill is commissioned.

1991

The company is given its current name Dobeles dzirnavnieks.

2008

Tartu Mill of Estonia becomes the biggest shareholder of Dobeles dzirnavnieks.

2009

The grain receiving pits are renovated, and new grain cleaning equipment is installed. The warehouses are reconstructed.

2011

The only industrial short-cut pasta production plant in Latvia is commissioned, becoming the most modern one in the Baltics. A bulk flour storage facility with a capacity of 3000 t is built.

2013

A high-capacity spaghetti production plant is launched.

2014

The only durum wheat mill in the Baltics with a processing capacity of 150 t of grain a day is installed.

2015

The company’s turnover reaches 98 million EUR, and the number of export countries – 70. We are named the No. 1 food producer in Latvia.

2016

A new cereal flake and muesli production plant is opened.

2017

The grain storage capacity is increased by 60,000 t.
